I teach singing (musical theatre and contemporary) at the Voice Lab nz. I teach singers of varying ages and stages. We explore anatomy of the voice, acting through song and music theory.

I believe that every student is different and a one-size-fits-all approach does not often work. When working with a singer, it’s important to take into account the person as a whole – their learning style, their personal goals and how their anatomy supports their sound.

My students are working towards goals such as national competitions, auditions for performing art schools, and reconnecting with music in a way that brings them joy.

I love to celebrate the small wins as well as the big ones and want my students to feel safe, supported and important. I constantly reassess my students stage of their learning and adapt our programme to help them reach their goals while also having fun.

My regular studio slots are currently full, but please reach out if you are needing a one-off session for an upcoming audition, competition or something else. Alternatively, you can be added to the waitlist if you wish.
